Founded in 2022, Define Capital is a permanent capital corporation focused on acquiring software and software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies in the B2B software market. We acquire companies with a strict promise to hold onto legacies forever and to never sell.
Our focus is on partnering with companies, like Realtax and OntarioTaxSales, that have mission-critical products, high customer retention, and a long history of solving problems in niche markets.

Narbe Alexandrian
Founder & CEO, Define Capital Inc.
Before starting Define Capital, Narbe was the President and CEO of RIV Capital (CSE:RIV), one of the largest private equity and venture capital vehicles in the cannabis industry.
Prior to RIV, Narbe was a venture capitalist at OMERS Ventures, one of the largest venture capital funds in Canada, helping raise multiple funds, while investing and managing a portfolio of tech companies, including Shopify, Rover, Hopper, Xanadu and others. He has also held roles at TELUS, Firmex and Deloitte.
Outside of Define Capital, Narbe is a father for two, and an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Business, teaching tech entrepreneurship to undergraduate students.
Narbe is a Chartered Accountant/Chartered Professional Accountant, and the receipient of the 2021 CPA Emerging Leader Award.
